My Life being Disabled Sept 2015

01/09 This morning I used my PC and I asked Steve if he would take me to Hull KR  Later he said would. I tried using Universal Jobmatch to advertise for a driver/carer but failed. In the afternoon I phoned Hull KR to order the tickets plus a disabled parking space. I ordered a Satnav from ebay and put an advert in Universal Jobmatch for a driver/carer. After I put my feet up and watch TV. After tea I used my PC.
02/09 I used my PC and asked Ben would he take me to watch Shaw Cross v Kells on 26/09 at 1430(Kells in Cumbria) . I got my tickets for Hull KR v Bradford on 13/09. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. Hull KR phoned me but I didn't answer it. After tea I used my PC.
03/09 My eldest phoned to remind me that is my wife's birthday I phoned my wife to wish her Happy Birthday. I used my PC to find the address of The Job Centre in Seacroft. After lunch I used my PC, put my legs up and watched TV. At 1640 my bowels opened and my carers changed my pad. After tea I used my PC.
04/09 Steve from Activities came to see me to say him and his nephew can't take me to Bradford matches anymore because it goes against ExemplarHC rules. He said they will take me to Hull KR on 13/09 but they can't take me to Shaw Cross on 26/09. I went to the Coffee morning at 1115 in the Activities room where I had Coffee and Chocolate Cake. We played Bingo and watched You Tube. After lunch I went to my room and used my PC. I put my feet up and watched TV. At 1630 my bowels opened and my carers changed my pad. After I used my PC.
05/09 This morning I had my Bladder wash and I asked the nurse if I could have a property check. She asked could we check my Care Plan this afternoon. My eldest son texted me to tell he's coming over this afternoon. I used my PC and my new Pillows arrived. I sent an email to Mark the Nursing Home manager asking if I could use/pay his staff to drive my vehicle when their not at work ? At 1215 a carer came to do my property check but he didn't have the original ! After lunch I used my PC and my eldest son texted me to tell me he might come over. At 1500 I put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I used my PC.
06/09 I used my PC in the morning and had my Care Plan monthly review. At 1245 I went with my carer in my car to see Bradford Bulls v Widnes Vikings at Odsal via Aldi where I bought a Chicken Jalfrezi and Pilau rice. We arrived at Odsal at 1345 my carer went to the ticket office to get our tickets and out Disabled parking space. We went to our parking space and parked my car. We went into the Provident stand where tickets showed our space/seat were 208 but they were the match from Salford. I got Beef burger which cost 3.80 pounds. The Disabled spaces in the Provident stand are at the back and the view was OK. At half time the score was 12 - 14 and at full time the final score was 12 - 56. Again we set off but we got stuck in the traffic and got home at 1800. I order a Chilli Pizza at Sopranos.
07/09 I used my PC and tried to order tickets for the Leigh match on 20/09 but Leigh said I have go to Bradford. I tried to phone the ticket office at 1100 but their phones were switch off. After lunch I asked the carers if one carer would take me Aldi but Activities said the time spent shopping goes to Activities. I used Asda to buy my shopping to deliver tomorrow at 1300 - 1600.
08/09 I used my PC and phoned Hull KR to get a disabled parking space on Saturday. I tried to contact Bradford but I left a message. At 1230 I phoned Bradford and ordered  wheelchair space, a seat for my carer and a seat for driver. Bradford told me I to phone Leigh to book a disabled space for my car. I phoned Leigh and they told me it's first come on their disabled parking. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I reset my PC to use Windows 8 instead of Windows 10.
09/09 I used my PC to find a Fish and Chip restaurant near to Hull KR ground. I found one called The Funky Fish. At 1245 my Passenger Transport came to take me Leeds East Community Health Centre to see a Podiatry to cut my toenails but when I got there at 1340 the receptionist told me I didn't have an appointment. She looked at my details and booked me in at Seacroft Clinic to go on 12/10 at 1300. I waited until 1630 for my Patient Transport to arrive and it was 1655 when I got home. After tea I used my PC.
10/09 I got a bottle of Brut after shave from ebay this morning. I put my satnav on charge and I used my PC this morning. After lunch I used my PC. After tea I used my PC.
11/09 I went to Asda to fill my car with diesel and went shopping. After I used my PC and tried to get my Satnav working. After my lunch I used my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I used my PC.
12/09 I ordered a Bacon sandwich for 1145 because e and Steve from Activities are going to Hull to watch Hull KR v Bradford at 1300. After breakfast I used my PC and got my clothes ready to go to Hull. At 1155 the chef told me that Bacon sandwich was ready. I went to the dining room and had my Bacon sandwich and cup of Coffee. I went to my room and used my PC. At 1250 Steve came to tell me we are going. We set off at 1255 and arrived at 1400. We saw a steward and he told us where to park outside of the Fans shop where somebody took us to the Away Disabled entrance where we took a lift to the Away Disabled viewing platform which had good view. The Disabled toilets were near. The match started and at half time the score was 12 - 4 but in the second half Bradford had little to do because they kept knocking on and losing the ball The final score was 48 - 4 with a crowd of 6,608. We got home at 1830 and I ordered a 11' Chilli  Pizza  from Sopranos .
13/09 I used my PC in the morning and in the afternoon I used my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I used my PC.
14/09 In the morning I got a letter telling me I had an appointment with the Podiatry on 12/10 at 1300. The manager asked if I would attend the Health and Safety meetings held every 3 months. I used my PC. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet and watched TV.
15/09 The nurse tried to give me a Bladder Wash but it wouldn't go through. Instead 2 nurses changed my catheter but during my shower my new catheter came out. The nurses changed it again.
After breakfast I used my PC and spoke to someone about hiring driver/carer. We are meeting next Weds at 1130. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet up and watch TV. After tea I used my PC.
16/09 I phoned Bradford Bulls and ordered a wheelchair space, seat for Andrew and Disabled Car space for the Halifax game on 27/09. I phoned Complete Care to re-arranged my appointment to Thursday 24/09 at 1130. I used my PC. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. After I used my PC and cleaned my teeth.
17/09 I got my tickets from Bradford Bulls and I another date for my Podiarty 26/10 at 1400. I used my PC before lunch. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet up and watched my TV. After tea I used my PC.
18/09 My eldest son phoned this morning to tell me he's home from holiday and while he was abroad he asked his girlfriend to marry him. I used my PC but at 1145 I was told we were having a coffee morning. I went and had a quiz. After lunch I went on my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I used my PC.
19/09 After my bladder wash I asked the nurse to put a night bag on to go to Leigh to watched Leigh v Bradford at 1500. We set off at 1130 and arrived at Leigh Sports Village at 1300. We went to Morrison's to have a Big Breakfast. After we walked round the stadium until we found our entrance but we were informed that the stadium doesn't open until 1400. We waited and were joined by a lot of Bradford supporters. At 1400 we, myself, my carer and my driver were shown to a Disabled viewing platform in the Main Stand(south). This holds 5 wheelchairs and 5 seats for carers but we were told only 1 Leigh supporter uses it. We got ready but the Leigh supporter told us to move because he uses a seat where my carer was sat in. At half time the score was 10 - 10. It was a close match but Bradford won 10 - 32. The crowd was 4,621 and about 1,500 were followed Bradford. We got home at 1900 and I ordered a Chilli Pizza from Sopranos via the web.
20/09 In morning I used my PC and in the afternoon I used my PC, put my legs up and watched TV. My eldest son and fiancée came to see . After tea I used my PC.
21/09 I phoned Old Trafford to find out why I haven't got my parking ticket. They told me I received it soon. They don't send them out until 2 weeks before. I used my PC before lunch. After lunch I found out that Bradford will be in The Million Pound Game but it will be played at the home ground of the 4th place. I also found out that Bradford v Halifax is on next Saturday kick off 1500. I texted my eldest son because he's taking to Odsal. After tea I used my PC and eldest texted me to tell me he's not available next Saturday.
22/09 In the morning I used my PC and saw a NHS nurse who gave me a flu jab and reviewed my progressed. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet up and watched a movie. After tea I used my PC and cleaned my teeth.
23/09 I asked to get up at 0700 because I'd an appointment at Seacroft Hospital with the Orthotics to get a new splint at 1020. My carers came in at 0730 but I didn't have a shower because they couldn't find my shower sling. I had a bed wash instead. After breakfast I used my PC and at 0930 my Patient Transport arrived but our handyman told them I'll be using my car. I sent an email to the manager to inform him. The handyman took me to the Orthotics in Seacroft hospital and we arrived at 1010. I was called at 1025 to see the Orthotics. He fitted my new splint and explained that should it become looser anybody can tighter it by adjusting the screw on the splint. We went to the Hobby Craft in Crown Point to buy things for Activities and to Asda in York Road where I bought 4 shower gels, a Chicken Jalfrezi, 2 Coriander and Garlic Naan Bread, a packet of Onion Barjes and a packet of various Indian snacks. We got home at 1200 and I used my PC. I sent a email to the manager complaining that I didn't have shower again this morning because my carers  couldn't find my shower sling again. After lunch I texted my youngest son to ask him if he would take me to Odsal on Saturday but he said he's in Spain and he doesn't get back until Saturday night. After I used my PC, put my feet up and watched a movie. After tea I used my PC.
24/09 I didn't have a bladder wash and changed my urine bag this morning because Ravensdale didn't have any. I emailed the manager again. At 11:30 I met with the rep. from Total  Care is signed a contact to provide a driver/carer for me, mainly to go watch Bradford at 16 pounds per hour. To start next season 2016. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I used my PC and ordered PC speakers from ebay.
25/09 I used my PC and went to the Coffee morning in the morning. In the afternoon I used my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
26/09 I used my PC and email the Commercial manager of Wakefield Wildcats to ask if I could go in The 1873 Suite. I had my monthly Care Plan review. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet up and watched Bradford lose to Halifax 18 - 52. After tea I used my PC.
27/09 I used my PC and sent an email to Citipark in the Merrion Centre to ask if I could use their car park on 29/11 and 17/12. After Sunday dinner I used my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
28/09 I used my PC and my tickets to the Grand Final came via post. I texted my eldest to ask him if he's got the tickets for Wakefield v Bradford on 03/10 at 1500. He told me he hasn't and I phoned Wakefield and ordered them. After lunch I went to Aldi in my car where I bought 2 Chicken Jalfrezis, a bar of chocolate, a pack of chocolate biscuits, 2 packs of ginger biscuits and 2 packs chocolate digestives. When we got home we unpack the shopping, put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I used my PC.
29/09 After my bladder wash, my breakfast and I used my PC. I found the restaurant I want to go for my birthday. The Nawaab Khan on Roundhay Road.. After lunch I used my PC,  put my feet up and watched a movie. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
30/09 I used my PC and began changing my passwords. In the afternoon I used my PC, put my feet up and watched TV. After tea I used my PC.
