My Life being Disabled July 2016

01/07 I used my PC and finished changing my passwords. In the afternoon somebody phone me interested in my driver/carer from Sherburn and tomorrow at 1200 he's coming for job interview. I put my feet up and used my PC. After I used my PC.
02/07 I interviewed this morning and somebody from Sherburn in Elmet was successful. He starts on Weds 06/07 at 1830 to take me to Franco's in Colton. After lunch I put my feet up and use my PC. After tea I used my PC.
03/07 I got ready to go to Leigh who are playing Bradford at 1500 today. At 1130 my carer came to drive my adapted Volkswagan Caddy 1.6. It took us 1.5 hours and we went to Morrison's Café to have breakfast. After we went to the reception to ask where we should go ? A steward took us to the front of South Stand where there was 3 places for Wheelchairs/Carers. Our view was quite good considering we weren't elevated. There was about 2k from Bradford with the attendance of 5,111. For match report see bradfordbulls.co.uk/tickets/reports/716. After the match it took us 30 minutes to get of the car park and got home at 1900. My carer told me of an orange light in my speedo that began just before we got in Leigh. It started as soon as started my car and lasted all the way home. I ordered a 11' Chilli Pizza and a Chocolate Fudge cake from Sopranos.
04/07 This morning I reported my car to Volkswagon Assistance and their van came at 1130. He diagnosed that my engine was not talking with the computer. He found a wire that could have caused it which he repaired. He said if it happens again tell Volkswagen Vans on 01274 985253. After I used my PC. After lunch I put my feet up and used my PC. After tea I used my PC.
05/07 I used my PC after my PC had upgraded. After lunch I used my PC, I emailed Totalcare about pending summons for spending and asked to check the driving licences if there are any convictions. I email PAL about my  visit to the Eye Clinic on 30/06.  At 1600 my bowels opened and my carers changed my pad. After tea I used PC.
06/07 I used my PC in the morning. After lunch I used PC and put my feet up. At 1600 my bowels opened I told my carers who changed me to out to Franco's. I only had an Egg Custard and a cup of Coffee. I went to my and watched TV until at 1830 Richard my new carer came to take me to Franco's at Thorpe Park in Coulton. The restaurant was big and there was about 30 people dining. I ordered a Pizza Americana and Richard ordered a Lasagne al Forno. The waiter brought us bead, butter and a selection Olives etc.. After 20 minutes he brought our main course. We said it wad very good but I couldn't eat Pizza. Richard asked a box to take to his wife. We got home at 2045.
07/07 I went to the Activities room where I made 2 picture frames. After lunch I used my PC and put my feet up.  After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.             
08/07 I used my PC and ordered a Clipper/Cutter from Ebay. At 1130 I went to the Activity room to join in the Coffee morning. We had 2 quizzes. I went to my room. After lunch I used my PC, checked my Care Plan and watched TV. After tea I used my PC.
09/07 In the morning I used my PC. After lunch I put my feet up and used my PC. After tea I used my PC.
10/07 At 1130 Richard, my companion came to take me Odsal. We got there at 1215 and went to Conference and Banqueting Centre. We were allocated table 2. The meal was Cottage pie, carrots and cabbage with gravy followed jam roly-poly and cream. The match kicked off at 1500 and at half time the score was 52 - 0. The new Bull Dane Chrisholm playing at Scrum Half had a good game playing the first match for Bradford. We went outside for first half but we came in because it started to rain at half time. We stayed after match to see Dane get the MOM and to listen to Rohan Smith give his report. We got home at 1825 and I ordered Chilli Pizza and a Chocolate Fudge Cake.
11/07 At 1130 we all gathered in the 1st floor lounge to see Motivation Company where we excercised and play games for 1 hour. After lunch I put my feet up and used my PC. I emailed Richard to ask him if he will be my companion for Bradford v Oldham on 17/07 at 1130, to watch Shaw Cross v Elland play on 23/07 at 1430 followed by Mermaid and to go the Grosvenor Casino Leeds Westgate on the 03/08 at 1930. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
12/07 I should have my Monthly Care Plan Review at 1100 but Linda the nurse told me she's having Quarterly Care Plan Review with another Service User. She told me she'll do it later. After breakfast I used my PC. Linda came for me at 1105 because the other Service User didn't feel so good. My monthly Care Plan finished at 1215, I went to my room and used my PC. After Brunch I used my PC and put my feet up. After tea I used my PC.
13/07 I used my PC in the morning. After lunch I used my PC, put my feet and watched TV. After tea I used my PC.
14/07 I used my PC and complained because my wheelchair wasn't cleaned last night. After lunch I put my feet up, used my PC ad watched TV. After tea I used my PC and got a reply from my younger brother when I asked him if everything was OK.
15/07 I went to Coffee morning from 1130 to 1300. I met with my Social worker Michael Harrison and my advocate. My eldest son phoned because he was stuck in traffic near to Tescos.Michael began stating that Sherwood Court is for older people that are low level requirement. He said this an inter stage before they are moved into Care homes. My needs are too complex to Sherwood Court. We discuss Ravensdale's plan to move me into the house opposite. Michael said he would speak with Linda when she come back A/L. Andrew came at end but Michael summarised for him. Andrew came to my room to discuss my options. Moving across path is best option. After I put my feet up, used my PC and watched TV but at 1615 my bowels opened. My carers changed my pad. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC. I attempted to print the agenda for the Service User Forum.
16/07 I used my PC and I spoke to my youngest via Facebook, he lives in Tenerife.  I got a questionnaire about my Capability to Work but I need somebody to help me. After lunch I put my feet up and watched TV After tea I used my PC.
17/07 I got ready to go to Odsal because Bradford are playing Oldham at 1500. I used my PC until 1130 when my driver/companion Richard came for me. When arrived Odsal at 1215, Richard dropped me off at the Conference and Banqueting Centre. When he had parked my car we went into The Legends Bar. We sat at table 2 and I bought us drinks. At 1310 the Turkey and Beef carvery was served. After the guest speaker got up and spoke 20 minutes. The dessert was served. About 1430 we decided to get out because it was sunny and hot inside. The final score was 44 - 12 with an attendance 4235. After we went inside but it was too hot. We got home at 1755 and I ordered a 11' Chilli Pizza and a Chocolate Fudge Cake.
18/07 I arranged to get up at 0700 but my carers told me they dealing with an emergency. they came for me at 0730, I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room for my breakfast and after I used my PC. My transport came at 1020 with my appointment with Dr. Kent in Pinderfields. We got there at 1130 and waited for my turn. Dr Kent saw me 1150 and finished my assessment 1210. She discharged me and we went to the reception to wait for our transport home.
We got home at 1430 and I had lunch. After lunch I put my feet up and used my PC. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
19/07 I used my PC in the morning. After lunch I went outside in the garden because it was sunny. After tea I used my PC.
20/07 My catheter was blocked at 0400 this morning. The nurse in changed it before 0800. I ordered another ticket for the Challenge Cup final on 29/08 for the extra driver. After lunch I tried to scan my entitlement for my DLA but my scanner didn't work. After tea I used PC.
21/07 I got the OT to scan my entitlement for DLA. I used my PC, I ordered a pair of Charcoal trousers from Jacamo and I got my Silver coin from Westminster. After lunch I put my feet up, used my PC and watched my TV. After I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
22/07 I used my PC and ordered a ream of A4 paper from Ebay. At 1130 I went to the Coffee morning. After lunch I put my feet up and used my PC. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
23/07 I used my PC and got ready to go to Shaw Cross where my oldest son is playing. My carer/driver Richard and we set off at 1330 and got Shaw Cross at 1415. The match started at 1430 Shaw Cross playing Elland but it was all Shaw Cross. Elland were not in the match because Shaw Cross have signed 38 year old Lee Gilmour ex Super League player. Shaw Cross won 80 - 4. After the match we went to The Mermaid for Fish, Chips, Mushy Peas and a cup of Tea. I got home at  1900.
24/07 I, my carer from Activities and driver went to Featherstone to watch Featherstone v Bradford in last match of The Championship. Whoever wins goes into the playoffs. I booked for 3 places in the Hospitality and we had to be there before 1300. We arrived at 1215 and parked my car in the Disabled parking space near to the entrance. We were told that the Hospitality was on 3rd floor in the Cappers Bar. We took he lift, which was locked to stop children playing in it, to the 3rd floor. I could only fit in it with my carer. They told us the Cappers bar had extended for Bradford spectators. We sat on table 15 with another group of 5. At 1320 the meal was served of Roast Beef, Yorkshire pudding and a mix of vegetables plus gravy. The dessert was Cheesecake and cream but some sitting n table complained because their Cheesecake was still frozen. My driver is a vegetarian but Featherstone had a menu for vegetarians. There was a guest speaker but all the Bradford spectators could hear him. After we went to our seats which were on the 1st row of the main stand. We sat opposite 40' line and the Bradford sat in the stand to our left. Their stand was full and there was  a crowd of 5454. The match started but Bradford didn't it was all Featherstone and final score was 20 - 0. In the car park it was chaos with no stewards, it took us until 1730 to get out. We decided to go to Mamtaz in Leeds. It's an Indian restaurant in Leeds near to The Amourories. We got  there at 1800 but we had go in the multi-storey car park. We went to Mamtaz and was surprised how elegant it was. I order Chicken Karahi with Garlic and Coriander Naan plus a Perrirey Sparkling water. We finished at 1930 and got home at 2000.
25/07 This morning I got my tickets to Wembley but didn't get my parking. I used my PC and asked the senior carer if somebody could file my finger nails. After brunch I put my feet up and used my PC. After tea I used my PC.
26/07 I ordered a disabled parking space for Wembley from RFL costing me 15 pounds. This morning I went out with my eldest son and his fiancée to look at Saltmarsh Hall near to Heworth. After we went to Bridlington for Fish, Chips, Mushy Peas and Tea. We got home at 1800.
27/07 I used my PC and changed password for grosvenorcasinos. After lunch I put my feet up and used my PC. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
28/07 I distributed the Agenda for The Service Users Forum and use my PC. After lunch I used my PC and put my feet up to watch a movie. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
29/07 I chaired the Service Users Forum this morning. This afternoon I put my feet up and used my PC. After tea I cleaned my teeth and used my PC.
30/07 I used my PC, spoke to my youngest son in Tenerife via Facebook, ordered 12 wooden trouser hangers and ordered Vitamin C pills via Ebay. In the afternoon I put my feet and used my PC. After I used my PC.
31/07 After breakfast I was sick and went back to bed.
