My Life being Disabled November

01/11 Used my PC in the morning, I watched a New Zealand v Samoa from New Zealand with New Zealand winning 14 - 12. I had Sirloin steak for tea and the cook made me garlic sauce.
02/11 Got up at 07:00 to go St James church near Tescos. The service started at 10:00 and after we went to Tescos. After Sunday lunch I went on my PC. After I put my feet up and watched TV.
03/11 I restored my PC because it had been corrupted.  In the afternoon my bowels opened and I put my feet up to watched TV. After tea my bowels opened again and my carers changed my pad plus my joggers.
04/11 Going to Asda after lunch my bowels opened and my carers changed my pad. I tried to get my printer working.
05/11 Went to Seacroft hospital/Wheelchair Services to try my new wheelchair but I couldn't bring it home because the manufacturer had changed their specifications and didn't tell Wheelchair Services. After lunch I tried my printer again and got it going. I printed my return from Amazon x 3.
06/11 In the morning I used my PC and in the afternoon I watched TV.
08/11 In the morning I used my PC and in the afternoon I watched New Zealand beat England 16 - 14. Before I thought my bowels had opened but it was a false alarm.
09/11 I went to St James church for Remembrance Sunday. After we went to Tesco's to buy things. After Sunday lunch I watched the TV and put my feet up.
10/11 The OT told me she has referred me to my GP to get some physio. Larer I used my PC.
11/11 I put my Samsung Galaxy Young mobile on Ebay. In the afternoon my bowels opened, I put my feet up and watched TV.
12/11 I asked the nurse if she had organised a carer to go with me to Jinnahs tonight to meet Andrew my eldest son but she hadn't. She said she will organise one. She told me my 1.5l catheter bags are no longer supplied by Colorplast. At 18:30 we went to Jinnahs to meet my son. A carer stayed with me and I had Meat Samosas plus Chicken Nawabi Khana. The meal and the service good but I had to cope with a step to get in which was unpleasant !
13/11 My GP came this morning because my right leg was red and sore. He said it was Cellulitis and he gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I received 2 letter 1 from St James for an appointment on the 18/12 at 11:30 and 1 from the Tax office. I gave my appointment to the nurse and she must get my GP to request transport. In the afternoon I put my feet up and watched my TV. After I used my PC.
14/11 I went to the Coffee morning before lunch. After I restored my PC because it wouldn't go on the internet. Later I put my feet up and watched TV.
15/11 In the morning I tidied my room and used my PC. In the afternoon I watched the final of the 4 Nations with New Zealand beating Australia 22 - 16. After tea I used my PC.
16/11 During the night I woke with stomach ache. I couldn't get back to sleep. I stayed in bed until 11:00. After lunch I used my PC.
17/11 In morning I had appointment to see a Poidintry to get the toenails at Seacroft Clinic. In the afternoon I put my feet and watch TV. After tea I had headache and right/paralysed was tingling. At 20:00 the nurse called a doctor but he didn't arrive until 23:30. By that time I'd taken my night medicine and I was barely awake. He checked my vitals and left. I slept all night.
18/11 I was alright in the morning until my cleaner asked if she could clean my carpet. I went to the dining room at noon to read my letters. Again my pains occurred but at 13.00 with the noise I went room and my carers put me in my bed. At 14:00 the nurse phoned my GP and told her told her to phone for an ambulance. It arrived at 14:45 and we arrived at St James at 14:45. I went the A&E after seeing the doctor and my chest X-Ray I was diagnosed a Chest problem. I was anti-biotics  and told I was admitted at 18:45 once they find a bed. I told them I use an Air Filled mattress and they said they would order one. From 18:45 until 23:45 I stayed in A&E. I was moved to J26 but kept near the Nurse Station. One of the notices said ' Please tell the NUSES ' ? I got a bed at 01:30 and went sleep at 02xx after I was administered Pracetamol and a Sleeping pill.:
19/11 I woke up at 07:00, I had Porridge and toast for breakfast. I told the catering staff that I had El-Hal meat. I arranged with Hospedia to have television, phone plus internet cost of  25 pounds ! I tried to contact my banks through the internet but it was too slow. I tried to get them via the phone but 0844 numbers are banned ? I phoned Service Desk to ask why they didn't know. I told them my internet was very slow. An engineer came and speeded up. I had a curry, naan bread and a dessert for lunch. At 16:00 a nurse came and told I was being discharged. At 19:00 I asked Hospedia to me of their system. About 11:00 I asked the nurse if I could go to sleep. She dispensed my night time pills and I went to sleep/ At about 01:00 someone woke me to tell me my transport was on it's way. She packed my bags and got me ready. At 01:15 my transport arrived I got home at 02:00.
20/11 I woke up at 09:30 after breakfast I used my PC. In the afternoon I put feet and watched TV.
21/11 I went to the Coffee morning where we had quizzes. In the afternoon I went Tesco's.
22/11 I used my PC in morning. I sent an email to Hospedia. After lunch I put my feet up and watched a movie. After tea I used my PC.
23/11 I had to evacuate my room because the domestics were cleaning my carpet. After breakfast in the TV room because the painters were painting the dining room I went to the Activities room. I took my PC with me to tidy it up. I asked if they have heard from the council because I havn't  received my disabled bus. They were chasing it. They told me that they plan going to The Beehive, Thorner on 02/12 and they will  arrange it. I got an appointment  on 29/12 09:15 at the LGI to get my new hearing aids. I booked my transport and gave the to the nurse. After lunch I went to my room and used the internet.
24/11 I had an appointment at The Reginald Centre in Chapeltown to see a dentist. The Patient Transport arrive at 10:00 and we arrived 10:30. We guided to the dentist's surgery upstairs and 11:10 we were called. He examined my teeth. He said I want some fillings and cleaning. He said do I want a new set of my upper false teeth. I said they were loose and I wanted a new set. He said I have 6 appointments. We went to the receptionist and she put 6 appointments in their diary, giving me a printed copy. I asked her would she arrange transport. We went down stairs to wait for the Patient Transport at 11:40. At 12:40 I phoned their control who told  me they havn't allocated a vehicle YET.  My carer phoned my home and asked if our minibus was free YES. The driver arrived at 13:00 just as Patient Transport arrived. We informed the driver saying your control told me at 12:40 there was nobody allocated. We got at 13:20 but Steve our handiman took me to B&Q where I bought 2 glass shelves for my bathroom. On the way home I bought a Haddock special and mushy peas.
26/11 This morning I asked the nurse to call my GP because I had a Hernia in my chest. My advocacy came to invite me to their Xmas party. She came 13:30 and said don't bother because it's my stomach. She raised my stomach pills  I asked her to sign my disabled bus (pass application form. I told her my amaphilin(3) wasn't working. She raised to 4 pills. At 14:30 Activities were having a Rock Horror Show. It lasted until 17:00 where I changed of my visit to The Beehive and asked if they would me A4MHD for their Open Day.
27/11 I used my PC before lunch. I was going to Leeds RL and Aldi but the handyman put my glass shelves up.
28/11 I phoned Leeds RL and for person who received my scan but they were out. The activities came to ask me if I wanted to go to Crossgates. The said be ready at 11:30. In Crossgates I bought 15 boxes of Chocolate Liqueers, Xmas Tree and baubles that light up at Wilkos. In Tesco I bought 4 boxes of Pringles, a Sirloin steak and some mustard. We got home at 14:30 and had lunch. In the afternoon I used my PC.
29/11 I used my PC in the morning  Afternoon I watched England beat Australia
30/11 I used the Access Bus to take me and my carer to St James for Holy Communion and to take us back. This afternoon I used my PC.

My Life being Disabled October

• 01/10 I LOST ALL MY BLOGS FOR AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER In the afternoon put my feet up and watched TV. My eldest son came and brought my mobile - repaired.
• 02/10 I had a bladder wash and my blood/sugar was 9.5. After lunch my bowels opened and carers changed my pad. Somebody from Activities asked what I wanted from my birthday I told her I wanted a new pocket for my wheelchair. At tea time I felt sick and went to my bedroom.
• 03/10 I was weighed at 88.7kgs. I phoned my wife to inform her that my spending money hasn't been paid in.
• 05/10 I'm having problems with my laptop.
• 06/10 Trying to change my passwords. In the afternoon we went to Poundland and Tesco.
• 07/10 My 60th Brithday presents and cards. We went to Capri Bistro at 19:00 and met my two sons and their girlfriends.
• 08/10 I met somebody who told me, she had informed the manager and she wanted interview me. She asked me a few questions and asked me if I would like my benefits paid into my own account. I phoned the RFL to find out why my tickets havn't arrived. The ticket were sent to Dearnevale but the ticket office will have a duplicate copy on Saturday. I ordered a Lenovo G50-30 from Amazon.
• 12/10 We(myself,a driver and 2 carers) went to Old Trafford yesterday to watched Rugby League Grand Final between St. Helens and Wigan we set at 13:30 and got there at 16:00. I had to pay £9 for a parking space and we had to go to the ticket office because my tickets didn't arrived. They me a duplicate copies and we went through the wheelchair entrance. We went to the Ability Lounge where I got a steak pie, a packet of crisps and cup of coffee. (a special deal). We went to our places in front of wheelchair spaces behind the posts. There was entertainment until the match started and after 2 minutes a Wigan player got sent off for punching somebody. At half-time Wigan were winning at 6 - 4. The final score was Wigan 14 - 6. After the presentations it took 45 minutes to get out of the car park. We got home at 22:30.
• Mon 13/10 I went to the Pedaitory to get my toenails cut. My appoitment was for 08:40 but didn't arrive until 09:00 because our minibus was in use. We caught a bus to Seacroft and walked to The Grange Medical Centre but we arrived at 09:00 and was told we had missed my appointment. We went to Tescos shopping and caught a bus back home.
• Tues 14/10 Nicholas Flether from Leeds City Council came to investigate 2 problems I had flagged up to him. I started using my new PC all afternoon. 
• Weds 15/10 I tried to get my new PC going but in the afternoon I went to the LGI to have my ears tested. My appointed was at 16:15 but I went in early and finished 16:45. Our transport came at 17:40. We got at 18:30 and I oRdered a Bolgnese pizza.
• Thurs 16/10 Myself, another resident, our driver and 2 carers went to White Rose shopping centre. I bought 2 polo shirts from BHS and I went with the driver to Frankie & Bennys for lunch. We got home at 15:30.
• Fri 17/10 My GP came because my blood/sugar was high, about 20 when it should 5 -10. We decided to reduce my biscuit and crisps. I order a wheelchair bag from Amazon. I enquired about a Mobility Car, Dacia Logan MCV Ambiance 1.2 16.
• Sat 18/10 I used my new PC during the day and after tea I put my feet up and watched TV.
• Sun 19/10 I'd asked the night staff to get me up at 07:00 but they didn't get me until 07:30 which was too late to go to church. I feel asleep again and woke up at 09:00. My carers told me my mattress was deflated and changed it for a normal one. I used my PC all morning, I watched a movie in afternoon but before tea my bowels opened and my carers changed my pad.
• Mon 20/10 I went to The Thackray Museum this morning and got Fish 'n' Chips plus mushy peas for lunch. After lunch I used my PC.
• Tues 21/10 I set my alarm at 06:00 because the nurse told me at 06:30 was a busy time but carers came at 06:20. After doing my Cares I went to the dining room to have my breakfast at 07:45. At 08:05 a carer told me she was going to Pinderfields with me to see the Orthotics at 10:20. We arrived early at 09:40 but the person on Orthotics saw early. I gave him my shoes that been shrunk by the night staff who put then in the washing machine on a high setting. He asked me did I want the same style and colour. We were in his office 5 minutes and after we told the receptionist the we would transport to go home. The same vehicle came at 11:00 and we arrived at home 11:30. I spent most of the afternoon with my feet up watching TV.
• Weds 22/10 Wrote a letter to Mark Henry and PALS about my experience when the night staff put my white shoes in the washing machine. A carer filed my left finger nails. In the afternoon I put my feet up and watched TV. My eldest son came to visit me.
• Thurs 23/10 Dr Roberts is coming from Pinderfields at 13:30 to see me ?  I asked the nurse for some shampoo and toothpaste. Dr Roberts never appeared and the nurse is going to find out tomorrow. For the rest of the day I used my Lenovo PC. I asked the nurse if I can go to Jinnah Indian restaurant.
• Fri 24/10 I went to a coffee morning in the Activities room. In the afternoon I went to Tescos.
• Sat 25/10 I tried to contact Leeds First Direct Arena but I didn't through. The nurse told me I could get tickets for Paloma Faith on 21/03/15. In the afternoon I put my feet up a  nd watched TV. I got in touch with the First Direct Arena and ordered 1 wheelchair space and 1 carers seat in Block 102. After Sunday lunch I put my feet and watched TV.
• Mon 27/10 In the morning I used my PC. After lunch I carried on and I got some beard shears from Amazon which I didn't want. I ordered a printer from Amazon.
• Tues 28/10 Got up at 07:00 because my GP and nurse were coming at 09:40. They didn't arrive. I got the 2015 fixtures for Bradford Bulls and asked the manager if I could go to some of them. After lunch/brunch I was sick all over and my carers changed my shirt, jogging bottoms and wheelchair cover. I put my feet up and watched TV.
• Weds 29/10 This morning the cook told me that she's got some Salmon which I can have for tea. We walk to Tesco's and Poundland to shop. After lunch my bowels opened and my carers changed my pad and my jogging bottoms. I sent an email to Jinnah to ask if my wheelchair can in there restaurant but it failed.
• Thurs 30/10 This I made a DVD on my PC.
• Fri 31/10 In the morning we had a Halloween coffee morning and in the afternoon we had a scary movie in the Activities room. After tea I rebooted my PC because it was goiing slow.  

My Life being Disabled July

I was moved to Ravensdale Nursing home, Naburn Walk, Whinmoor, Leeds LS14 2DA on Monday 07/07/14. I am just beginning to get round the move but this home has less residents(I5).
Sat 12/07 started to changed my passwords but having great difficulty. I ordered a disabled trolley from Amazon.
Sun 13/07 I went on my computer but got tied up with my Hotmail.
Mon 14/07 same prob but getting worse. I order a footstool from Amazon.
Tues 15/07 am I tidied my room. I bought a wallet, costers and hankies from Amazon.
Thurs 17/07 at 11:30 we went shopping in Crossgate near home. I had a sausage sarnies, custard and a coffee. We in Tesco and Wilkies where I bought a mirror. Later we went in the garden where we had 2 quizzes.
Fri 18/07 quiet day watching telly and sorting my room. I emailed to my MP George Mudie to intoduce myself
Sat 19/07 I got appointment to Dr Kent next Mon 28/07 at 10:00 at Pinderfields, I got my Wembley tickets but no Car parking. My youngest came and my came with him.
Fri 25/07 somebody Comms got my feed for broadband working room but BT are coming on Mon.
Sat 26/07 bought a WPB from Amazon.
Weds 30/07 booked a taxi to take us to Headingley on Fri from Wheels.
Fri 01/08 at 18:00 our(a carer with me) the taxi from Wheels took us Headingley we arrived at 18:45 and was charged £15. We went in but a steward told us to get in lift but we came back down because my place was in front Carnegie stand. It rained all time and being at the front we with every wheelchair use got soaked. It was a good match with Bradford winning 14 - 20. We waited for taxi and he came 22:10 and we got home at 23:30. I ordered a Chicken Jalfrezi with Garlic Naan bread from Mojos.
Sat 02/08 wrote my report to Sarah Williams at the RFL.

My Life being Disabled June

I spent all of Sunday changing my passwords. My bowels opened at 1500 and my carers changed my pad.
Continued changing my passwords on Monday. At 14:00 I went to the training room because Heather was teaching us how to make a DVD.
On Tuesday we had a food building where every unit had build something out of food. Later I went Asda where I bought a Chicken Jalfrezi with pilau rice, some Samosas,  some Onion Bajhis, 4 packets of Rich Tea and 4 packets of Ginger biscuits.
On Weds 04/06 I had to go see the manager to explain whet my sons are doing on my bedroom floor. At 12:15 my new computer came. It's IBM Lenovo X60s.
On Thurs I had the physio treat my arm under hot water in mornin on my right arm under hot water. I cooked a Chilli con Carne for my tea.
On Friday I got my hair cut and I got my Lenovo laptop working.  I received a bottle of Quorem After shave and my external drive from Amazon. In the afternoon I went to my GPs who took more blood.
On Sat morning my IBM Lenono PC crashed and I asked Computer repair to ask why at 12:00. After lunch I reported it Grab A Laptop through Amazon. My bowels opened at 13:30 and my carers changed my pad. I watched Wigan lose to Castleford 4 - 16.
On Sun morning I reported my PC to Amazon and direct to "Grab A Laptop". After lunch my bowels opened and my carers chnaged my pad. I watched Bradford lose to Warrington 10 - 46.
On Mon I phoned Grab a Computer and they told me I would have to return it. After lunch I asked the carers would they parcel the PC for the post. I went Heather's class about making a DVD in which I was action to book the Residents Kitchen to make a Chicken Jalfrezi and let Heather know. After I went to our dining where the carers had pack my PC but could not take today. I asked them to put my request in Skills book(cooking Chicken Jalfrezi) and to let Heather know.
On Tues I asked if I could to the Post Office but my carers said they were too busy but they said theywill take me tomorrow. I watched TV with my feet up all afternoon.
On Weds I asked the carers if I could to the Post Office and told me, yes. I went to the Post Office to send my laptop back to Grab A Laptop and went to Asda to do some shopping.
On Thurs Grab A Laptop sent me an email asking me to remove negative comments from Amazon if they reimburse my postage costs. I replied that if they clear the fault and reimburse my postage costs I will remove my comments. I recvd 2 emails Amazon and Grab A Laptop telling me that they had reimbursed me for the laptop and my postage costs. The manager came to deliver my notice that I have gotvto leave this Nursing home because of my behaviour in 28 days 11 July.
On Sat I tried my new black shoes on.
On Sun I couldn't find my Bulls away shirt but my carers are going to  look for it.
On Mon I phoned my Social worker who said was organising a meeting to discuss me. I phoned Sky and Premier Sports to cancelled my subscriptions. I got my new raincoat from Amazon. I checked my Sky and my Premier Sports and I couldn't get on.
On Tues I got up at 07:00 to go to Brid.

My Life being Disabled 31/05/14

My eldest son came this morning and stayed until lunchtime. I had a Chicken roast with mixed vegetales and mashed potatoes. After my new mobile arrived and I am charging it.
On Thursday I stayed all day.
On Friday I started using my new mobile. I had fried haddock, chips and mushy peas for lunch.
On Saturday I asked a carer if she would put in the Skills book that I wanted go to Cortonwood. I watched The Magic weekend.
On Sunday morning I messed with my new mobile. In the afternoon my bowels opened and when the carers were changing me they soiled my sling. I stayed in bed all afternoon.
On Monday there was no class.
On Tuesday I went to my GP for her to take more blood and on the home went to Asda.n
On Wednesday I spent the afternoon sunbathing in the garden.
On Thursday I made a CD for the Sailing Competition tomorrow. I ordered a money box and some coasters from Amazon.roblemsw
On Friday we had Zumbo in the morning, after lunch my big PC bust. iI to watch the boat competiion held in garden
On Saturday afternoon I watch Catalan beat Bradford easily.
On Sunday and Monday I had problems with my small PC but a carer told me how to press "
On Wednesday I wentt to Asda Living, Matalan and Morrison in Cortonwooc.

06/05 I tried to put some Anti-virus on my computer but after 1 hour I gave up.
07/05 My eldest son came this morning and he took my new mobile to sell it. I phoned O2 to get a new SIM.. I had Tomato soup for lunch. I sorted my Co-op bank internet.
11/05 I went watch Bradford get thrashed by St. Helen's 0 - 50
12/05 I had some physio on my arm.
13/05 I ordered a Samsung Galaxy young deep biue mobile from O2. In the afternoon I went to Barnsley Hospital to change my hearing aid.

My Life being Disabled 03/05/14

Yesterday I logged off at 16:00. I had jacket potato, beans and ice cream for tea. My bowels opened during the evening so I asd my carers if could go to bed at 22:00. I didn't sleep much. This morning my carers said they would go to Asda. I had difficulty with accessing the internet via my new mobile. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I put my feet up and watched TV at 14:00. I had my tea in room but I can't remember. I went bed because I felt funny and stayed there all Friday worrying. CRAP#

On Sat morning I DECIDED to get up and do my BLOG. I tried to fix error 400 but failed.
On Sun morning T decided to stay in bed.
On Mon I decided to contact 02 TO SEE IF i COULD CHANGED MY FONE - no
I tried install virus protection failed
I had pasta bolognese and ice cream for my tea.
