Yesterday I got change to go to The Bullbuilders AGM which was in The Coral Stand at Odsal, Bradford. At 16:25 I went to the dining room and had my own Pasta bake and ice cream. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 17:25 Skills came for me and my carer joined us at the dining room. We set off at 17:45 and arrived at Odsal at 18:50. We drove up to the Coral stand and disembarked at the Disabled lift where somebody from the tried to get the lift working. She went inside and a weedy looking man tried but he decided to manually hoist the lift. He used a long lever that had be inserted on both sides of the lift but he couldn't move it. Another man came and they hoisted the lift up. It took until 19:15 for me to get in because my driver and carer had gone inside because it was cold and very windy. The meeting started at 19:35 with the Chairman asking if the minutes last years AGM were correct. He gave a report about what had happened in year 2012. He said there were 3 choices to be taken. Firstly to disband because the new owner is funding the Academy, secondly to become a supporter trust(where I found out Bullbuilder has 200 members but the Bulls have 10,000 supporters and lastly no change). The chairman opened the floor for questions but we left at 20:30 because the vote hadn't been taken. We arrived at Dearnevale at 22:00, I watched television until 23:00 when I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:00 and watched television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my leg bag to a siphon bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to the manager's office to lend her my magazine with an article about my brother's house and to tell the managers plus the office staff are invited to Bollywood Lounge next Tuesday at 17:00. I went to my room and phoned The Audiology Dept. at Barnsley hospital to enquire what's happening with my hearing aides and my 3 yearly check. They replied they will look into it. I logged on to change my passwords. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:30 my bowels opened and the carers changed my pad. I look for Skills to inform them that the match between Bradford Bulls v St Helens has been changed from 15:00 24/02/13 to 14:00 23/02/13. I left a note for them and tried the physio's room because my splint is faulty but there was nobody there. At 16:25 my bowels opened again but the nurse said I must stay in my room until the carers are fee.

My Life being Disabled 30/01/13
Yesterday I logged off at 18:30, I put my feet up and watched television. At 21:30 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 06:00 and watched television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, told the carers I wanted to get changed at 15:30 because I'm going to the Bullbuilders AGM after tea. I went to the dining room, had breakfast and read my agenda for the Bullbuilders AGM. I went down to the office to get a cardboard document holder to put the AGM agenda in. I went to my room and logged on at 11:00. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch but it was late. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:20 I went to the training room and continued learning about Basic Food Studies which lasted until 15:00. I went to my room and started getting ready to go to Bullbuilders AGM.

Yesterday I logged off at 18:30, I put my feet up and watched television. At 21:30 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:00 and watched television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my syphon bag and got dressed. I asked a carer to find my England RL polo shirt but they couldn't find it. I asked them to tell the laundry. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged on at 10:45. At 11:30 I watched television and exercised(x1). After I went to the laundry but they couldn't find my England RL polo shirt. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I sent an email to Dearnevale with all the information about my lost England RL polo shirt. I had half of jacket potato, chilli con carne and egg flan for tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off 18:30.

Yesterday I logged off at 18:30, I put feet up and watched television. At 21:00 I told a carer that my bowels had opened again and I wanted go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:00 and watched television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged on at 10:30. The nurse brought me 2 letters, one with my HC2 and one from the matron at Royal Hallamshire Hospital asking for my receipt from the taxi I used. I wrote a letter to the matron enclosed the receipt in an evelope which I got from the office. I had fried egg, chips and baked beans for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I went to the Post Office to post my letter to the matron which I wrote this morning. I went to Adsa where I bought 2 vegetable Samosas, 2 onion Bajas, a Pasta meal, 2 boxes of Lozenges, 2 boxes of thin dark chocolate mints and a bottle of shower gel. When I got home a carer told me a resident was leaving and there's a party at 15:00 in the training room. At 14:50 I went to the training room we had 5 games of Bingo and a buffet tea. I came back to my room at 17:45, I cleaned my teeth and logged off at 18:30.

At 13:30 I went to Adsa where I bought 3 cans of deodorant, a pizza cutter, a bottle of cough medicine and a lip balm. I came home, unpack my shopping and worked on my computer. At 16:00 I went to the Therapy kitchen and made a Chilli con Carne Pizza. I went to dining room and eat my Chilli con Carne Pizza followed by Vienetta for tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off at 18:30.

Yesterday I logged off at 18:00, I put my feet up and watched television. At 22:15 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 06:30 and the nurse came in at 06:55 to wash my bladder out. After I got up, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my beg for a siphon bag and got dressed. The night staff inform me I wasn't going to the Trafford Centre because it had been snowing overnight. I went to the dining room and had 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 fried eggs and baked beans. I text'd my eldest son to wish him a happy birthday. I went to my room and logged on at 10:30. I phoned my son to wish him a happy birthday. I went to Skills who told me they were not allowed to go out in the minibus even though the roads are clear but they will book me in for the Trafford Centre. I had my own Chicken Vindaloo and 4 mini Naans for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:50 I went to the training room where Skills were playing Bingo. We had 4 games of Bingo which I won a bottle of shower gel and quiz. We finished at 16:00 and I went to my room. I had pie and peas plus ice cream for tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off at 18:00.

I came home and one of the managers said one of our neighbours had complained because she though the residents are looking into her house. I had fried fish, chips and mushy peas for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 15:15 I read my book until 16:00. I had Chicken Kiev, chips, baked beans and ice cream for tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off at 18:00.

I went to the Therapy kitchen and put my name on my Pizza which I'm going to cook on Sunday at 16:00. I went to my room and logged on at 11:30. I had Mulligatawny soup and 2 Naan breads for lunch. I went to my room, asked a carer to ask the nurse for some painkillers and cleaned my teeth. At 13:50 I went to the training room because the Residents Meeting, which held every month, starts at 14:00. The meeting finished at 15:00 and I went to my room where I text'd my eldest son to ask him if the physio's, nurses and carers get a discount at his nightclub next Friday. When got back I logged on my computer at 11:30. I sent another email to Grimethorpe Surgery about my Retinal Eye Scan. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:30 one of the physio's assistants came to tell me the training was starting ASAP because our teacher arrived early. I went to the training room and 1 hour learning about Basic Food Preparation. I went to my room and at 15:15 my bowels opened. The carers changed my pad and I went to the dining room at 16:30 with my Chicken Madras, Pilau rice. I logged on at 11:00 and had a cup of Coffee with 2 Vegetable Samosas. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:45 I went to Skills because I'd booked tickets for the Grand Final but they were in the training room. I went to the training room where I told Skills that I booked 2 Wheelchair user and their Carers plus our converted Ford Transit minibus. I spent the next eleven talking with the entertainer before he went to change. The training room started filling up. He started at 14:15 and finished at 15:45. Yesterday I logged off at 18:30, I put my feet up and watched television. At 21:00 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:00 and watched television until 06:20 when the carers came to get me ready because I've an appointment at the Hearing Centre at Barnsley hospital at 10:30 but I was told to be ready for 08:30. I cleaned my teeth and noticed there was no hot water. I informed the carers and told them I wasn't having a shower. I shaved and got dressed but I put my thermals on because it had been snowing. I went to the dining room and had 2 Weetabix for breakfast. I went to my room and logged on at 08:00. At 09:30 I ordered 2 Wheelchair spaces for the Grand Final. At 10:00 the nurse came and told me my appointment was cancelled because of the weather. I started watching a movie on television. I had Chilli con Carne soup for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I finished watching the movie. The physio's assistant came to ask me if I wanted to my right arm under hot water. We went to their room for 15 minutes. I went back to my room and I asked a carer if she would ask Skills if I'm cooking a Pizza. I studied City & Guilds Basic Food Preparation. I sent an email to the Practice Manager regarding my Retinal Eye Scan. Skills told me it was too dangerous to go to Asda and they postponed my Pizza until tomorrow. I had a jacket potato, baked beans and Viennese ice cream for tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off at 19:00.

I went to the dining room and someone from Skills gave me new bag for my wheelchair. I had breakfast and emptied my old bag. I went to my room and asked a carer to put my new bag on. I logged on at 10:45. I asked if Skills would take me to Asda because the footpaths were full of snow and ice but they told me they were not using the minibus for the reason. I had Mullitawany soup for lunch. I went to room, cleaned my teeth and asked a carer when I was cooking a Pizza. The carer told me on Monday 21/01/13 at 16:00. This morning I woke up at 06:00 and watched television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and someone from Skills gave me new bag for my wheelchair. I had breakfast and emptied my old bag. I went to my room and asked a carer to put my new bag on. I logged on at 10:45. I asked if Skills would take me to Asda because the footpaths were full of snow and ice but they told me they were not using the minibus for the reason. I had Mullitawany soup for lunch. I went to room, cleaned my teeth and asked a carer when I was cooking a Pizza. The carer told me on Monday 21/01/13 at 16:00. Yesterday I logged off at 17:30, I put my feet up and watched television. At 21:30 I asked a carer if I could to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:00 and watched until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I told the nurse I didn't have any siphon bags or leg bags. I went to my room and started writing notes for the Residents Meeting on 24/01/13 at 14:00. I started tidying my top drawer. I logged on at 11:30 and sent a email to our office asking them to print the Agenda etc. for Bullbuilder's AGM. I had a sausage, chips, poached egg and baked beans for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:50 I went to the training room because Skills had booked an entertainer/singer but he didn't turn up. He rescheduled for next Tuesday. I went to my room, put my feet up and watched a movie but at 16:24 I went to the dining room. I had Cornish pastry, baked beans and ice cream for tea. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I finished watching the movie and logged off 18:30.

This morning I woke up at 06:00 and watched television until 08:15 when I called the nurse came with my medicine that I have take 30 minutes before I eat. I called again for a carer and asked to get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged on at 10:00. I got dressed to go out because I was taking my HC1 form to the Post Office and to Asda to buy my tea. I put my fleece on but my carer told me it want washing. I put a woolly hat, my scarf and my gloves because it was freezing. I had to go into the Post Office because the envelope was too big. I went to Asda where I bought a Chicken Madras with pilau rice, 2 vegetable Samosas, a bottle of cough medicine and 2 packets of Halls soothers. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:50 I went to the training room where Heather the teacher asks the residents to discuss Food. This finished at 15:15 and I went to my room. I had my own Chicken Madras, Pilau rice and ice cream. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged at 17:30.

After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changing my leg bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged on at 10:30. I texted my eldest son to see if he wanted to go watched Bradford v Wakefield on the 03/02/13 at 15:00. I tried to phone Mrs Joy Barnes the matron about my complaint but she was engaged. I had rump steak, chips, peas, mushrooms and onion rings for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I'd got an agenda for The Labour Party Barnsley North East AGM on the 21/01/13 at 19:00 which I gave to the senior carer to ask skills if I can go. There isn't a driver on Mondays. At 14:00 I went to the dining room because there was a coffee hour. I stayed until 15:10 and went to my room. My bowels opened and the carers changed my pad. The chirpodist cut my toenails and my finger mails. I tried to phone Mrs Joy Barnes but was unsuccessful at 16:00. The physio assistant took me to their room and stretch my right hand in hot water for 15 minutes. I went to the dining room where I started filling my HC1 form in. I had a chip butty and ice cream for tea. I finished filling my HC1 form in. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off at 18:30.

This morning I woke up at 04:00 and watched television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged on at 10:00. The nurse told me skills were holding a coffee morning in the training room at 11:00. At 10:50 I went to the training room where skills were giving everbody a cup of coffee. After we had 5 games of card bingo and finished at 12:10. I had Chilli con Carne soup for my lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I went to Asda with the intention of buying a permanent marker and some blank CD's. I bought 2 Onion Baja's, a bottle of Cough Medicine and a box of thin dark chocolates. I went to the Co-op but they didn't sell marker pens. I had Chicken Jalfrezi, Naan bread and ice cream for tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off at 18:00.

After I waited for Patient Transport to take me to Pindersfields Hospital in Wakefield to have my Baclofin pump filled. We got there at 14:30 and saw Mr Jamil, the consultant, at 14:50. He filled my Baclofin pump up and we went to the Patient transport who was waiting outside. We got home at 16:00, at 16:20 I went to the dining room and had Corned Beef hash followed by ice cream for tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off at 18:00.

I phoned the RFL to buy Grand Final tickets but they're not selling them but they're going to phone me when they are. At 11:30 I watched television and exercised(x1). I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I asked a carer if they would put my request to go to Bollywood Lounge Restaurant in Wakefield. At 13:15 the physio;s assistant came to tell me that at 14:00 somebody is coming to talk about training. At 14:15 the physio's assistant came to tell me she was here. I went to the training room and we discussed what everybody wants to train on. I decided on Food preparation and she told us the next meeting is next Wednesday 16/01/13 at 14:00. I went to my room and got ready to go to Asda. I bought 2 packets of Halls soothers, a bottle of shower gel, a box of chocolate thin mints, 2 vegetable Samosas and 2 other Indian snacks. I had Quiche, chips, baked beans and ice cream. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth, started reading my new book and logged at 18:30.

Yesterday I logged off at 18:00, I put my feet up and watched television. At 22:00 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:00 and watched television until I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, change my leg bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and decided to go to Asda. I bought a Chicken Vindaloo and some Indian snacks. I went to the chemist but it wasn't open. When I got home I went to Skills and left them a World Cup hat plus a list of matches I want to go to. I had Chilli con Carne and Naan bread for my lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 14:30 my bowels opened and I told the carers who changed my pad. I had Tomato soup and ice cream for tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth, skills came to file my finger nails and I logged off at 18:30.

My Life being Disabled 04/01/13
Yesterday I logged off at 18:00, I put my feet up and watched television. At 21:30 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:00 and watched television until 08:15 when I asked the carers could I get up. I asked them if they would cut my hair. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged on at 10:30. At 11:00 I tried to exercise but my left leg was swollen. I had fried fish and mushy peas for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 14:00 I decided to go out for some fresh air. I down The High Street to where Acorn Way joins back up on Acorn Way to the park, through the park to Adsa. I bought 4 mini Naans, 2 vegetable Samosas and 2 packets of lozenges. I had Mulligatawny soup and Sorbet for my tea. I went to my room, cleaned my tea and logged off at 18:00.

This morning I woke up at 07:00 and watched television until 08:15 when I told a carer that I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my leg bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged at 10:30. I emailed my brother and at 11:30 I watched television while exercising. I had fried egg, chips and baked beans for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:30 I went to Asda where I bought some shower gel, some deodorant, 2 Samosas, 2 Onion Bajas and two packets of Halls. At 15:15 while I was watching a movie the physio's assistant came to ask me if I wanted to go to their room and stretch my right hand under hot water. We did it for 10 minutes and came back to watch the movie. I had a Bacon and Tomato sandwich followed by a Sorbet for tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off at 18:00.

I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged at 10:45. At 11:30 I watched television and exercised(x1). I had Chilli con Carne for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:30 my bowels opened and I told the carers who changed my pad. I started watching movie but decided to email my brother. I had Corned Beef Hash and Sorbet for tea. I went to room, cleaned my teeth, finished watching the movie and logged off at 18:30.

I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged on at 10:00. At 10:30 I went to the training room where skills were having a quiz. We played until Noon and I went to my room. I had an Onion Baja and Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 14:00 I went to the training room where we played 3 games of Bingo and 2 Quiz. We finished at 15:30 and I went back to my room. I had Carrot soup and 3 Samosas for tea. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth.

I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room and logged on at 10:15. The carers told me skills were having a coffee morning in the training room at 10:30. At 10:25 I went to the training room where I had a cup of coffee followed 5 quizzes. At 12:00 I went to my room. I had Chicken Curry, Rice and a Naan bread for lunch. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. At 13:30 my bowels opened and I told the carers who changed my pad. At 14:00 I went to the training room where skills were playing Bingo. We had 3 games followed by 2 quizzes. At 16:00 I went to my room and finished my book Robbie Paul The Rugby Warrior. We had a warm buffet for tea and I had 3 Samosas. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth and logged off at 17:30.
