My Life being Disabled 31/12/11

Yesterday I had Mulligatawny soup and ice cream for my tea. I to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put feet and watched the television. At 18:15 I started vomiting, forcefully so I decided to bed. I didn't sleep very well and really hot so the carers opened a window. At 07:00 I asked for some paracetamols and nurse came she washed my bladder. At 08:15 I asked to get up but my sling was soaking. I stayed in bed until 17:00. I got up, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged in at 18:43. I logged out at 19:30.

Yesterday I had Mulligatawny soup and ice cream for my tea. I went to my room, cleaned my teeth, put my feet up and watched the television. I felt awul and at 19:45 I told a carer I wanted to go to bed but she told me to wait for the night shift to start. At 20:10 the night came in to put me bed. I had a very restless night but I fell asleep at 02:22.
This morning I woke at 04:14 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer could I get up. I asked a carer could they cut my hair. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. Somebody from skills came to take to Cottonwood but we had different mini-bus and I couldn't get on the hoist. I went Asda where I bought a bottle of water and a tin of mushy peas. I went to the newsagents and I some Fisherman Friends. I came home went and had a cup coffee. After I went to the computer room and left at 12:00 to cook Fried Haddock and mushy peas. Skills for me and I cooked my Fried Haddock with mushy peas. I went to the dining room but I didn't eat all. Skills for me to test different mini-bus but I couldn't fit on the hoist. I went to the computer room and left at 13:30 to go to my room. I had cup of coffee and watched the television until 15:00 when I went to the computer room. I did survey for Asda and logged out at 16:30.

Yesterday I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put up my feet and watched vthe television. At 21:00 I told a carer my bowels had opened and I asked if could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:30 and watched the television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. She told me the senior nurse is going to change my catheter later today. After I got up, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my siphon bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged on at 10:17. Somebody from skills came and told me all requests I made have been given dates. I went to my room at 11:30 to watched the television and to exercise(x1). I had Fried Sausages, chip and baked beans for lunch. I asked the nurse if I could have some Paracetmols and I went my room. I asked a carer if I could put my feet up while I watched the television. The physio came to test my sling and at 15:45 I went to the computer room and logged out at 16:30

Yesterday I went to my room at 18:05 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 22:30 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 07:40 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer to get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered but I noticed that my urine had blood in it. I told my carers who told the nurse. I got dressed, went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged in at 10:48. I'd got an email telling me I'd won £3.90 on the Euro lottery.I had got a Vmail from tutor:

Physical signs can include; shop signs in different languages, posters, notices etc advertising events for different groups, shops catering for different ethnic tastes, different places of worship, health and safety signs, charity shops, sheltered accomodation, clothes that show religious belief, food and restaurants, assistance for disabled people, such as disabled parking bays, local festivals and celebrations and premises that support diverse groups such as Sure Start ect..

This list is by no means a full one once you get thinking along the right lines you will come up with some of your own too.

Remeber when answering question 4 to include examples relating to religion, ethnicity, age, disability and gender.

Yesterday I went to my room at 17:30 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 my bowels opened and I told a carer that I would go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 02:00 and watched the television until 08:15 when I called the nurse came and gave me a bladder wash. I got up, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my siphon bag and got dressed. I went to the dining rooom and had breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged on at 10:19. I started working my assessment question 5. I went to my room at 11:30 to watched the television and to exercise. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to the computer room to work on my assessment and I went my room at 13:30. I cleaned my teeth, watched the television and exercised(x2). At 14:30 I went to Asda and bought 2 packets of Lozenges and a packet of Cotton Bugs. I went home, unpacked and went to the computer room. I worked on my assessment describing Inequalities in a Community. I had a chipbutty and ice cream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged at 18:05.

Yesterday I went to my room at 17:45 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 my bowels opened because I had a lot of sprouts and I told a carer that I wanted to go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 07:15 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged in at 11:00. I cleared my recycled bin and noticed I had 10.1 GB of free on my hard disk. ( went to my room at 11:30 to watched the television and to exercise(x1). I had Turkey, Ham, chips and peas for lunch. I went to the computer room and went my room at 13:30. I cleaned my teeth when skills told me there was bingo and a quiz in the conference room at 14:00. I went but there was only me there, skills came 14:05 and decided to round all the units to remind everyone. By 14:30 there were 5 residents and 3 carers. We played 3 rounds of Bingo and quiz about music. At 15:45 I left because my bag was full but it had nearly finished. I went to the computer room to check onmy computer. I had 1 Corned Beef sandwich, a Samosa, 2 Onion Barjas and ice cream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged out 17:30.

Yesterday I went to my room at 17:05 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 my bowels opened and I told a carer that I wanted to bed.
This morning I woke up at 07:20 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer could I get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room where I tried to restore my computer. I went to my room and had a cup coffee. At 11:00 my wife and our eldest son came to give me my Christmas presents. They stayed until 12:00 because it was my Xmas lunch. I had Tomato and Basil soup, Turkey, stuffing, new potatoes, carrots, parsnips, peas and Christmas pudding. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I went to the computer room and logged in at 13:40. I went to my room at 15:00 to watched the television and drink a cup of coffee. I went to the computer room and logged out at 16:30. My youngest son and his girlfriend came shortly after I to the dining room and we went to my room. They stayed until 17:15 and I went the computer room to see if I could fix the fault. I logged out and went to my room at 17:45.

Yesterday I went to my room at 17:10 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 19:30 the fire alarm started but nobody told me what was happening. It lasted for about 25 minutes. At 22:00 my bowels opened and I told a carer that I wanted to go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 06:55 and asked a carer to put my heating on but she told me the heating plus water was turned off because last night somebody of another unit had flooded their room. Iwatched the television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I got dressed in my thermals underclothes plus my jogging trousers and a tee shirt. I had an electric shave and cleaned my teeth. I went to the dining room but when I going through a corridor door the fire alarm started again and these door closed me stuck in them. The nurse came to free me and told me to watch my in case it starts bruising. I had my breakfast and went to the computer room where I logged in at 10:03. I sent an email to my tutor telling her I didn't understand question 4 of my assessment. I went to my room and watched television. I had Beef Wellington, carrots, new potatoes, cabbage with ham and a dessert that involved Bananas. I asked a carer to check my bag because it was empty and it was O.K.. I went to the computer room and went to my room at 13:30 to clean my teeth. I watched the television until 13:50 and went to the conference room to watch Double Tee which was a Kareoke. They performed from 14:00 until 15:20 but there were only 14 residents there and by 15:10 there were only 3 residents there. I went back to my room and went to computer room. I had 2 samosas, 3 onion bargees and 4 sausages rolls for tea which we had at 16:00. I went to the computer room and logged out at 17:05.

Yesterday I went to my room at 17:30 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 I told a carer that my bowels had opened and I wanted to go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 07:40 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked carer if I could get up. I called again at 08:40 and asked if somebody would cut my hair. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and tried to fix a fault that fills up my hard disk. I logged on at 11:01 but I couldn't fix it. I went to my room and watch the television. I exercised and at 12:30 I had fried fish with mushy peas for lunch. I went to the computer room and went to my room at 13:30. I cleaned my teeth, exercised and watched the television. At 15:45 I went to the computer room and started question 4 of my assessment. I had Mulligatawny soup for tea and I'd asked for ice cream but there wasn't any. I went to the computer room and logged at 17:10.

Yesterday I went to my room at 18:05 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 I told a carer my bowels had opened and I wanted to go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:30 and watched the television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. The nurse told me to stay in bed until the physio came to assess me. He came at 09:00 and he told he had received three complaints that I didn't assist carers when the hoisted me. He told me how to sit straight and I said the carers should remind me of this. I got up, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my siphon bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and signed in at 11:05. At 11:50 I went to my room and exercised. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to the computer room and went to my room at 13:30. I watched the television and exercised(x2). I went to Asda at 14:40 and bought a packet of 4 Haddocks plus 2 frozen thin pizzas. I came home and put my shopping in the Therapy freezer. I went to the computer room and went to dining room at 16:30. I had a bacon, egg sandwich and ice cream. I went to the computer room and logged out at 17:30.

Yesterday I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet and watched the television. At 21:10 my bowels opened so I told carer and said I wanted to go to bed. They weighed me at 97.7 kgs before they put on my bed.
This morning I woke up at 04:00 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer could I get up. I asked them to weigh me again which was 95.5 kgs. When the carer was putting in my toilet she twisted my paralysed foot and it hurt. I told her and said you usually don't feel it. I cleaned my teeth, shaved but while I wasa showering my foot still hurt so I told the carers and they the nurse. She examined it but didn't find anything. I got dressed but asked the carers to leave my support stocking and shoe off. I went to dining room room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged at 10:21. I continued with my assessment working on Question 3. I went to my room to watched the television and to exercise. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to the computer room and went to my room at 13:15. I cleaned my teeth, watched the television and exercised(x2). At 15:15 I went to the computer room and worked again on my assessment. At 16:05 my bowels opened and I told carer who told me to go to my room. They changed my pad, boxer shorts and jogging trousers. I had a jacket potatoe, baked beans and ice cream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged out at 18:05.

Yesterday I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 I asked a carer if could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 07:45 and watched the television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. I asked the nurse if my catheter wants changing because it's 8 weeks since it was changed. She checked and asked me if I wanted to change it now but I said I've got a dentist appointment at 10:30. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my siphon bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to my room to watch television. At 10:10 2 carers came to take me to the dentist. I put my scarf, hat, gloves and fleece on. We went the dentist which is at the other side of St. Luke's church on Cemetry Road and we arrived at 10:25. It wasn't my dentist and he called at 10:40. He filled my tooth in 5 minutes and we went to Asda where I bought 5 tubes of Pringles Sour Cream and Onion. We got home at 11:00 where I had a coffee in my room. I went to the computer room and signed in at 11:30. I had braised sausages, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and broccolli. I went to computer room and went to my room at 13:30. I cleaned my teeth and watched the television. At 14:00 I went back to the computer room and at 15:00 I went to my room for a cup of coffee. I watched a DVD called 'Trespass' until 16:20. I went to dining room to join in our Xmas party. There were 7 residents, 2 nurses and 9 carers there. I had a Ham sandwich, 2 small pieces of Pork pie, 2 slices of Garlic bread and a slice of Chocolate cake. I went to the computer room at 17:45 but some of the residents went to the Conference room to have Karaoke. I logged out at 18:15.

This morning I woke up at 05:30 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged on at 10:19. I started on question 3 of my vision2learn assessment. I sent an email to somebody from NCIL to see if they wanted any Experts with Experience. I went to my room at 11:30 to watched the television and to exercised. I had Mince Beef, mashed potatoes and mixed vegatables for lunch. I went to the computer room and did some more of my assessment. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I watched the television and exercised(x2). At 15:00 I went to the computer room and at 15:50 the physio's assistant came to ask me if I wanted to stretch my right hand in hot water. We went to their room and I put my in for 10 minutes. I came back to the computer room. I had Mulligatawny soup and ice cream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged out at 17:30.

Yesterday I had Quiche, baked beans and ice cream for tea. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:30 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:30 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. I got up, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to the computer room and signed on 10:20. I started on question 3 of my assessment. At 11:10 somebody from skills came to take me to Asda where we bought the ingrediants for my Chicken Jalfrezi and I bought 2 packets Throat & Chest Lozenges. We arranged to cook at 14:30 and I went back to the computer room where I filled in a questionnaire for Asda. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch and went to my room to clean my teeth. At 13:55 I went back to the dining room because our nurse was having a coffee afternoon. I had cafetiere coffeeand a piece of chocolate cake. At 14:30 skills came me to cook my Chichen Jalfrezi which took 90 minutes. We took it with a slice of Naan bread into our dining room and I had ice cream after. I went to the computer room and logged out at 17:30.

Yesterday I went to my room at 18:00 and cleaned my teeth. I noticed noticed the filling that dentist put in had gone. It must have the turkey or brussel sproats. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:30 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 07:00 and watched the television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my leg bag to a siphon bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged on 10:08. I worked to save my assessment on vision2learn and my sister came with her husband came 10:30. We went to my room and stayed until 11:40. I went back to the computer room and a carer asked me what I wanted to eat on Xmas Eve, Xmas Day and Boxing Day. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch and I went to the computer room. I went my room at 13:15 to clean my teeth. I watched television until 15:30 when I went to the computer room and logged out at 16:30.

Yesterday at 17:30 I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 22:30 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 06:30 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked carer could I get up. I asked them to cut my hair. I got up, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my leg bag and got dressed. I put my best trousers on and my Ben Sherman shirt because it's our Christmas lunch at the Norman Inn public house in Monk Bretton. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the cxomputer room and logged on at 10:43. Somebody must have switched my computer off because my vision2learn assessment had been lost. Somebody from skills came to tell me I was on the first bus to the Norman Inn which sets off at 12:30. I went to my room at 12:00 to get ready. At 12:20 one of skills came for me to go. We arrived at Norman Inn at 13:00 and bus went back. Our meal was served at 14:00, the soup was cold, the turkey was tough. Everbody got loads and we all enjoyed it. We came home and I went my room but I noticed it was 16:45. I went to the dining room and had Mulligatawny soup followed by ice cream. I went to the computer room and logged out at 17:59.

Yesterday I went to my room at 17:45 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 my bowels opened and I told a carer. I said I wanted to go to bed but when they undressed me I was blathered !
I woke up this morning at 08:00 and watched the television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, change my leg bag because there wasn't any siphon bags and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and Steve from skills filed my finger nails. I logged on 11:11 and looked at question 3 in my assessment for vision2learn it asked about services and agencies in Barnsley that support diversity. I went to my room at 12:15 and I went to dining room at 12:30. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch and I went to the computer room. At 13:30 I went to my room to watched a DVD called 'Hugo' and asked a carer if I could go to Asda. At 14:45 we went to Asda and I bought 6 packets of Polo's, 2 tubes of Pringles Cheese and Onion, 2 tubes of Pringles Sour Cream and Onion, 4 packets of Ginger biscuits, 2 packets of Rich Tea biscuits, a Naan, a packet of Halls cough sweets and some shower gel. We came home and unpacked. I went to the computer room at 15:50 and filled in a questionnaire for Asda. I went to the dining room at 16:30. I had bacon, fried egg, tomatoes and ice cream. I went to the computer room and logged out at 17:30.

Yesterday I went to my room at 15:45 and watched the television. I had Mulligatawny soup and ice cream for tea. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 my bowels opened and I told a carer that I wanted to go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 07:45 and asked carer if I could get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged at 09:51. I continued working on my last assessment but found out I didn't save it yesterday. I completed Q1 and started working on Q2. At 11:40 I went to my room at 11:30 to watch television and to exercise but I scratched my face which started bleeding so I stop exercising. I had Quiche, chips and baked beans for lunch. I went to the computer room and continued with with my assessment. I went to the conference room at 14:00 because we were having a food forum but it was cancelled until next Tuesday because there wasn't enough staff in the kitchen. I went back to the computer room and went to my room at 14:30. I had a cup of coffee, watched the television and read my book. I had pork pie, mushy peas and icecream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged out at 17:45.

Yesterday I went to my room at 17:52 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 22:30 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 07:00 and watched the television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my siphon bag to a leg bag because I didn't have any siphon bags and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth again because I'd an appointment to see the dentist at 11:10. At 10:50 I asked a carer if I could get ready. We set off and told the receptionist at 11:03. The dentist gave some filling in front teeth, I got my next appointment for 13/06/12 at 11:00 and got home at 12:00. I went to the computer room and logged on at 12:10. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went back to the computer room and somebody from skills came to tell me we were not cooking Chicken Jalfrezi today because she was too busy. She arranged it for Sunday. I went my room at 14:15 to clean my teeth and to watch the television. I went to the computer room and logged out 15:45.

Yesterday I went to my room at 16:00 to watched the television. At 16:20 I asked a carer if she would take my Chicken Jalfrezi out my fridge and would she microwave it. I had that and ice cream for my tea. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 my bowels opened and I told a carer that I wanted to go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 05:00 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged at 10:07. I started working on my final assessment with vision2learn. I went to my room at 11:20 to watched television and to exercise. I had fried egg, chips and baked beans for lunch. I \went to the computer room and went to my room at 13:30. I cleaned my teeth watched the television and exercised(x2). At 14:45 I went to Asda and bought a bottle of Asda shower gel. I came home, unpacked shopping and went to the computer room. I had an ommelette, baked beans and ice cream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged out at 17:45.

This morning I woke up at 08:00 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. The carers came hoisted me out of bed and I asked if they would cut my hair. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged on at 10:30. I worked on vision2learn until 11:00. I went to my room at 11:30, to watched the television and to exercise. I had fried fish and mushy peas for lunch. I went to the computer room and went to room at 13:15. Yesterday I went to my room at 18:00 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 22:45 I asked a carer if I could go to bed. My bowels had opened but I didn't feel it.
This morning I woke up at 05:30 and watched television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. After I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my siphon bag and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged on at 10:36. I checked with "fatbrain" web site to find out if they wanted to buy 2 hardback books but they didn't. I checked with 3 more but they didn't want to buy them. I went to my room at 11:30 to watched the television and to exercise. I had Cheese, Tomatoe and Onion Quiche with chips and baked beans for lunch. I went to the computer room and went my room at 13:05. I cleanedmy teeth, watched the television and exercised(x2). At 13:50 I went to the training room to attend the Residents Forum. They were reports by Kitchen, Skills and the Handymen. The chef told us we're having a forum to discuss menus on the 14/12/11 at 14:00. The meeting lasted 30 minutes and I went to my room and watched a DVD called "Another Earth". I had a jacket potatoe, baked beans and ice cream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged out at 18:00

Yesterday I had corned beef hash and ice cream for tea. I told a carer that I wanted to get up at 07:00 tomorrow because I have an appointment for the dentist.I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 04:45 and watched the television until 06:50 when the carers came to get me up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room at 08:05 and had breakfast. A carer told me my appointment card from the dentist quoted tomorrow but she'll check later. I went to the computer room and logged at 09:15. The carer told me my appointment had been rescheduled to 13/12 at 11:10. I went to my room at 10:30, watched the television and exercised. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to the computer room and went to my room at 13:00. I cleaned my teeth, watched the television and exercised(x2). I went to Asda at 14:30 and bought 1 packet Pringles Sour Cream,a shower gel, 2 packets of ginger biscuits. I came home and unpacked my shopping. I went the computer room and went to the dining room at 16:30. I had 2 sausages, fried egg, baked beans and ice cream. I went to the computer room and worked on my vision2learn. I completed an Asda questionnaire and logged off at 18:00.

This morning I woke up at 07:00 and watched the television until 08:15 when I told a carer I was ready for my bladder wash. I went to my room, watched the television and exercised. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch. I went to the computer room and went to my room at 13:15. I cleaned my teeth, watched the television and exercised. At 15:00 I went to the Post Office to post a Xmas Card for my wife. I went to Asda and bought a six packet ofd Polo's and 2 tubes of Pringles Sour Cream and Onions. I came home and unpacked my shopping. I asked the nurse if she would get me a complaints form. I went to the computer room and logged out at 16:30.

Yesterday I went to my room at 17:42 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:00 my bowels opened and I told a carer who said they were busy but they'll deal with me as soon as possible. They came at 21:50 and when they pushed my bed it collapsed. A handyman was working on in the morning. They told me they didn't have another bed but at 22:15 they found one. They put in my bedroom and put me on it. They undressed me and cleaned me but I noticed when I raised my head my feet moved. They put the bed upside down ! They changed it round while I was in the hoist and finally got in at 22:55.
This morning I woke up at 05:30 and watched the television until 08:15 when I called a carer. I told her I wanted to get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged on at 10:59. I work on my vision2learn for 30 minutes. I went to my room at 12:00 to watched the television and put my leg weights on. I had pasta bolognese for lunch. I went to the computer room and went to my room at 13:30. I watched the television and exercised(x1). The assistant physio came to stretch my right hand under hot water. After I went to my room where I watched a DVD. I had Mulligatanwny soup and ice cream for my tea. I went to the computer room and logged at 18:00.

Yesterday I went to my room at 18:10 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 21:15 I asked a carer if I could go to bed as my bowels had opened but she said they were busy and they will deal with me as soon as possible. At 21:50 they came to put me on my bed but the bed collapsed. One of the handyman was working on it this morning. At first they couldn't find one but eventually they found one. They put it up and put me on it. They undressed me and change my pad but when I tried moving the head part of the bed my feet moved. They had put the bed the wrong way. They took me out and changed the bed around and it 22:55 when I got settled.
This morning I woke up at 08:10 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. I cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to my room because my brother and his wife are coming at 10:30. They came in his new Bentley Cotinental GT. They stayed for 1 hour and left. I went to the computer room and logged on 12:06. I had Mulligatawny soup for lunch and went back to the computer room. I went to my room at 13:05 and cleaned my teeth. I watched the television but shortly my bowels opened. The carers changed my pad, my boxer shorts and my trousers. I watched The Immortals and went to the computer room. I had my own Chilli con Carne and ice cream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged out at 17:42.

Yesterday I went to my room at 18:30 and cleaned my teeth. I put my feet up and watched the television. At 22:00 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 06:30 and watched the television until 08:15 when I called the nurse came to give a bladder wash. She changed my siphon bag. I got up, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had breakfast. I asked the nurse to take my temperature as I felt hot and it was 37.5'C normal. I went to the computer room to get my keys but there were not there. My door was open and somebody had moved my bed. I went back to the computer room and called a carer who explained the handyman was working on my bed. He said it would take about 15 minutes. I went to my room before I went to lunch where I had Chicken Kiev, garden peas and chips. I went to the computer room and went to my room at 13:30. I cleaned my teeth and watched the television. At 14:00 skills came for me and carer because I wanted to go to Cottonwood. They had borrowed a minbus from another home in Sheffield. I bought a tub of Vic(Morrison's), 2 packets of Original Fisherman's Friends, 4 bottles of water and 5 packets of sugar free Polo's mints from Morrison's. I bought 3 pairs of boxer shorts from Matalan.We came home I went my room to unpack and I went to the computer room. I had a fishfinger sandwich and ice cream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged of at 18:10.

Yesterday I had a jacket potatoe, baked beans and ice cream. I went to my room and cleaned my teeth. I put feet up and watched the television. At 21:30 I asked a carer if I could go to bed.
This morning I woke up at 06:45 and watched the television until 08:15 when I asked a carer if I could get up. I asked if they could my hair. I got up, had my hair cut, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, put some Vic on my chest and got dressed. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I asked the nurse for some paracetmols because I had a cold. I went to the computer room and logged on at 10:34. I looked on the web to find out when The Tops are appearing at Sheffield Arena 16/03/12. I put this in the Residents Activity Wish List. I went to my room at 11:55 to watch television and put my leg weights on. I had fried fish and gardend peas for lunch. I went the computer room to change some of passwords and went to my room at 13:15. I cleaned my teeth, exercised(x2) and watched television. I watched SAW 7 and went to the dining room. I had Mulligatawny soup and ice cream for tea. I went to the computer room and logged out at 18 :00.

I got up, cleaned my teeth, shaved, showered, changed my siphon bag and got dressed. I told the carer to tell the nurse that I didn't have any prescribed shampoo. I went to the dining room and had my breakfast. I went to the computer room and logged on at 11:06. I worked on vision2learn describing 4 charities for an exercise. I went to my room at 11:45, watched the television and exercised. I had sausages, chips and baked beans for lunch. I went to the computer room and went my room at 13:30. I cleaned my teeth and watched the television. At 14:00 a carer came to tell me there was a singer performing in the conference room. I went it was a male singer who performed for 60 minutes. I came back and had a cup of coffee. I went to the computer room and logged out 16:30.
